Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 8 October 2026
These terms apply when you create an ONDA Club account, buy a pass, book a board or buy a board, on our website or in our app. Please read them before you sign up.
1. Who we are
ONDA Club is operated by COMPANY LEGAL NAME, tax ID (NIF/CIF) NIF/CIF, registered office at REGISTERED ADDRESS, registered in COMMERCIAL REGISTRY DETAILS.
Contact: LEGAL CONTACT EMAIL.
2. What ONDA Club is
ONDA Club is a surfboard membership in Tenerife. With an active pass you can book boards and pick them up at partner surf shops and spots listed on our website and app.
Boards are handed over and taken back by our partners. Wetsuits and other equipment are not included.
3. Your account
You must be at least MINIMUM AGE years old to create an account and rent a board. The details you give us must be true and kept up to date.
You are responsible for keeping your login safe and for everything done with your account. You can delete your account at any time from your account settings. Payment records we must keep by law are kept after deletion.
4. Passes and prices
We offer three passes: Casual (1 day), Explorer (10 days) and Nomad (30 days). Each pass is a single payment and does not renew automatically.
A pass is valid for its period starting on the start date you choose when you buy it. Prices are the ones shown on the Plans page at the moment of purchase and include applicable taxes.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
5. Booking and using a board
Every board must be booked in advance through the website or app. There is no walk-in pickup.
With Explorer you can keep the same board for up to 3 consecutive days, and with Nomad for up to 5 consecutive days. After that you need to swap to a different board.
Check the board when you pick it up and report any existing damage before you go in the water. Return it on time, clean, to the partner where you picked it up. LATE RETURN RULES, IF ANY
6. Damage Policy
Normal wear and small dings (coin-sized or smaller) are on us.
Damage beyond that, or a lost board, is charged to you at the cost of repair or replacement, depending on the type of damage: DAMAGE CHARGE TABLE.
Report any damage from your account within 24 hours of the return. By booking, you authorise ONDA Club to charge the card you paid with for that cost. We always tell you the amount and the reason before charging.
7. Cancellations and refunds
You can cancel a board booking that has not started yet from your account, at no cost.
Passes are leisure services for a date you choose. Once the start date has begun, a pass cannot be refunded. Before the start date: REFUND POLICY BEFORE THE START DATE.
If we cannot provide a board you booked, for example because it was damaged by the previous rider, we cancel that booking and help you book another one.
8. Buying a board
Some boards are for sale outright. The price is the one shown on the board page. After payment you pick the board up at the partner shown in your order, on the agreed day.
Used boards are sold in the condition described and shown in the photos. Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected.
9. Safety
Surfing carries risks. Only surf if you can swim, in conditions that match your level, and follow lifeguards, flags and local rules.
You use the boards at your own risk. We are not responsible for injuries or losses caused by the conditions at sea or by how you use the board, except where the law does not allow us to limit our liability.
10. Our responsibility
We take care to keep boards safe and the service running, but we cannot guarantee waves, weather or that a specific board or spot is always available.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under Spanish and EU law.
11. Suspending an account
We may suspend or block an account that breaks these terms, for example in case of fraud, unpaid damage or misuse of boards.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will tell you about important changes before they apply. Passes already bought keep the terms that applied when you bought them.
13. Law and complaints
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you have a complaint, write to LEGAL CONTACT EMAIL first and we will try to solve it. Official complaint forms (hojas de reclamaciones) are available on request.
If you are a consumer, you can also go to the courts of your place of residence.
