Boards & Fins

Choosing the right shape, fin setups, and the ding policy explained.

Quick answers

The things people ask most.

Choosing your shape

Longboards for small, clean days. Fish for punchy beach breaks. Shortboard if you know what you're doing. Staff at every rack will advise.

Fins

Every board comes with its fin setup already installed — no swapping or choosing fins.

Ding policy overview

Small dings (coin-sized or under) are on us — no charge. Any charge for larger damage depends on the type of damage, as set out in the Terms and Conditions.

Step by step

How it works, from start to finish.

01

Browse available boards

The website shows which shapes and sizes are at your chosen spot when you reserve. Filter by type if you have a preference.

02

Confirm at the rack

The staff will hand over the board with its fin setup already installed — fins aren't swapped or chosen.

03

Return it in good shape

Rinse the board if salt is heavy, and report any dings from your account dashboard within 24 hours. This protects you and the next surfer.

FAQ

Still have questions?

Boards circulate across the network for maintenance, so we can't guarantee the same unit. If you loved a particular board, note the shape and volume — the staff will find you the closest match.

Anything smaller than a 50-cent coin and not through the glass. Hairline pressure dings from normal use are always on us. Impact dings that let in water or expose foam are reviewed case by case.

Not yet — wetsuits aren't included or available to rent on any plan right now, so bring your own for now.
